IKOS Systems Repeats Emulator Trade Up Program
SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 15, 2001--
IKOS Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:IKOS), a leading provider of
high-performance design verification solutions, today announced that
it is repeating its popular ``iSWITCH'' program first run in 1999. The
iSWITCH2 program will run October 15, 2001 through February 28, 2002
and provides users of other emulation, simulation acceleration and
rapid prototyping systems the opportunity to trade up to IKOS' leading
emulation technology at prices as low as nine cents per gate. The
program is designed to allow users to trade in their older systems for
IKOS' systems of equal capacity.
``Users trading in less than four-million gates of capacity will
receive equivalent capacity on our VStation-5M emulator at a cost of
nine cents per gate. Users trading in more then four-million gates of
capacity will receive equivalent capacity on our 15-million gates
emulator at 12.5 cents per gate. Both are unheard of values for users
and should be very welcome in these times of tight budgets,'' said
Linda Prowse Fosler, vice president of marketing.
The advantages of IKOS' VStation emulators and the iSWITCH2
program include:
- Up to five-million and 15-million usable ASIC gate capacity in
a single system
- The latest version of IKOS' patented VirtualWires software
- IKOS' innovative co-modeling capabilities (targetless,
high-performance emulation) plus the most advanced in-circuit
emulation capability
- The IKOS co-modeling package for FREE -- a $200,000 value!
- Two FREE weeks of upgrade consulting
- Simulation-like debug environment
- Advanced debug capabilities including 100% visibility into
your design
The iSWITCH2 trade-up program accepts any of the following
systems:
- Excite or Extreme from Axis Systems, Inc.
- System Realizer, Mercury, Mercury+, Palladium or Cobalt from
Cadence Design Systems
- Celaro and SimExpress from Mentor Graphics
- System Explorer products from Aptix Corporation
